Bad Back

I've had a bad back for the past few days so I can't sit for long. Fortunately I can stand, so today I've been making bread instead of art.

This is a little doodle from happier times, inspired by Barrington Barber - The Complete Book of Drawing.

Since I can't sit long enough to paint and Katherine - Making a Mark - can't stand long enough to draw, I figure between us we would have the game sewn up.

Ronell - There's only about one slice left. Shall I run it over? :)
I've decided I can only make this bread once a week because I won't be able to fit through my studio door if I keep eating it at this rate! ciao

Sorry you're suffering with bad back, Robyn. My husband has had similar problems and I know it is so frustrating and painful. I hope you will be feeling better very soon. How was the bread? ;D

Now I can do 'bad back' too Robyn! ;) I remember well the feeling of being totally unable to find a comfortable position for sitting.

I can also do various remedies having tried more than a few in my time. Send me an e-mail if you want to know more! I'll barter you bread for my nuggets of 'wisdom'!

Seriously - I hope you're feeling much better very soon.

Many thanks for your sympathy Lin, Ronell, Casey, Laura and Katherine. My back is actually getting better, I stood up from my desk tonight and the was an amazing improvement. If I would just do my Pilates like a sensible girl, this probably wouldn't have happened.

I'm still hooked on making bread though. Had another disaster with sourdough - won't try that again but the Italian flat bread is a hit.
