EDiM Scissors

Got today's sketch finished by 11am now I can attend to pressing domestic matters - i.e. Ironing!

The great thing about the sketchbook I'm using for this challenge* is that I can remove the signature I'm working on for drawing and scanning and put it back into the book when it's finished. Neat! This sketch is the end of the first signature.

* A part of the Everyday in May challenge - drawing something every day in May.

Love the addition of red and green here! Gosh, I'm glad I didn't join in though, I can't believe how quickly the next challenge appears - I'd be so behind!

Felicity - Thanks. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to the end of the month. I'm too slow so it takes a big chunk of the morning.

Shirley - Many thanks - that's Italian parsley the harvesting of which is largely what they're used for.

Some stunningly good sketches going into your hand made sketchbook Robyn. So looking forward to this May project progressing and seeing what you have planned for all the days to come. The backdrop washes for the plug made it a very interesting piece of work and these runaway scissors are brilliant. Strange its my art scissors that disappear from my art room and end up in the kitchen!!

I love the sprig of parsley caught in the blades. I'm enjoying seeing all the sketches the group has done. I'm glad I joined in.
