Vivien's Blackburn's Flying Pictures Sketchbook is now in Tuscany. It has become a daily treat for me to open out the ten beautiful concertina pages of original work by three artists - Vivien, Ronell van Wyk and Lindsay Olson.
You can see my post about Lindsay's stunning additions to the book HERE at the Flying Pictures Blog.
Scroll through the blog to find Vivien's and Ronell's earlier spreads. The artful journeys of all seven Flying Pictures Sketchbooks in this exchange are being constantly updated on the FP blog.
I have now started work on my addition to Vivien's book. It is a daunting task, as you can imagine.

I really don't know how you all manage to do this - I'm very impressed. I think I'd want a timescale of about one a month - just so I could get my head round the topic plus how on earth to fit in with it AND and come up to the benchmark set by others!
doesn't this look great...it alsmot looks like a little windo into a layer underneath!

Katherine - I already don't know how you can be so productive! I'm adding you to my wishlist for the next sketchbook exchange.
Ronell - It does look great. I love the way Lindsay has picked up on Vivien's cover palette.
I gave you an award on my blog. You are a fantastic artist. In accepting the award, you are not obligated to continue with the nomination of others, but it is fun and encouraging all at the same time!
Claire - many thanks for recognising my blog with an award. You are very kind and I'm extremely flattered.
