May 2005 - Two Australians moved to Tuscany where they planned to live for two years. Two weeks later their dogs, Snowy and Dermott, arrived. Seven years and a property purchase later, they're still here.
This print was inspired by a beautiful photograph of birds in Africa taken by a wonderful Italian photographer, Carlo Landucci who lives right here in Castiglion Fiorentino and does inspiring aid work for children in Africa.
Masterful, strong design so well executed. You printing technique and talent leaves me quite envious that my weak wrists/thumbs don't allow me to use tools to create such creative work.
This is beautiful, stylish - I can feel the rhythm of the birds flapping in unison in heavy humid air. Love the white lines on the dark field on the earth. Wonderful!

This is a lovely print - very effective use of your tool marks, and a nice balance of positive & negative.

This is a beautiful print Robyn - I love the way you've massed the darks and the lights together - that sky looks so expansive!
