Drypoint etching of Dermott
I've reworked the zinc plate for the above print with a diamond tipped drypoint tool. Zinc is not as pleasing to work as copper so I don't think I will be economising in future. Anyway, as HWEM points out, there's probably a limited demand for prints of our dog with his begging bowl.

Your sketch during your early walk is just So lovely.
Robyn, so nice to see you out sketching again and to see you haven't lost your touch. I love the vignette style of the sketch and the feeling of light. As for the print, you might be surprised at Dermott's popularity, although I'm sure he won't be. :)
Yeah yeah, my hips viewed from the back are miniscule compared to the artist's, I'm here to tell you all.
Oh, I really like both of these! The sepia tones on the first and the vignetted style are gorgeous. Your sweet pup and his bowl are endearing.
Dominique - thank you :)
Stacy - thank you too. But as far as Dermott is concerned I think you spoke too soon.
Dermott - You have no idea what I look like viewed from the back. Have you forgotten I have to walk a safe distance behind to pick up anything you might drop! And I weren't so polite I'd have something to say about that too!!
Sue - Thank you for your kind comment but I've looked high and low and can't find any 'sweet and endearing pup' around here.
I love both of these. Dermott is absolutely huggable even if he does give you a little bit of lip every once in a while:)
Your sepia sketch is really, really lovely!!
Water finds its own level too.
I really like the top picture Robyn, but I also like the one of Dermott as well.
