My darling daughter was here for a few moments it seems. Now she is on the other side of the world again and I miss her madly.
Now I'm off to throw my hard ground etching into an acid bath. Fingers crossed.

Its difficult when families are flung around the world, isn't it? My girls are far away too, so I sympathize.
These prints are quite interesting. You'll have to write down the process one day, as it would be interesting to see just how they come to be.
wonderful drawing of your daughter.
I hope you're framing that top monoprint, Robyn, I love it! The design is so bold, and the colors work perfectly.
The portrait of your daughter is lovely as well. I love the spare style you've used here - subtle and to the point. She's beautiful, by the way.
Love it when our kids come to visit but so hard to see them go.
Do you keep in touch with Skype?
If not check it out I use it all the time. skype.com
Love the texture in the prints and a lovely drawing of your daughter.
I'm so envious of your printmaking workshop - I wish there was something like that around here. I love seeing the kind of abstract and accidental quality peaking thru the careful work.
Lovely sketch of your daughter - those rare moments together are so precious, eh?
your etchings are wonderful! the colors and tones in the top one are inspiring.
Onve again, such lovely prints Robyn and what a lovely sketch of Helen! the top monoprint is just gmowing, but my favourite her is that last one, with it subtle marks and "fading" lines whhich gives nice movemnet around your print...love it.

Really been enjoying your monoprints but most of all love THE PINES. Must be fun process and so intriguing to wait to see the outcome
Robin, I can imagine how hard it is for you to be so far away from your daughter.
Your monoprints are excellent, I hadn't been reading blogs and have missed out on so much good work. I'm back to it again, though.
Enjoying seeing your progress with the prints Robyn. I did some simple lino prints years ago but would love to have a go at the real thing like you have. They look great.
Beautiful prints Robyn.
I love watching your exploration
What a beautiful drawing of your daughter. I understand so well how difficult it is when our children are far away.
