I'm sure FlyingPictures will continue to please - because so many of my favourite artists are involved.

Marta - Thank you for visiting and, as usual, supporting others when you should have an army to support you. Love and hugs.

Judi - Thank you :) Can you imagine my delight when I found the Japanese flavour in Lindsay's collage? Anyway I 'lifted' a couple of tiny pieces of her paper for future delights.Robyn Sinclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01663604160297996421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-41293560592199672062008-06-09T17:18:00.000+02:002008-06-09T17:18:00.000+02:00Beautiful poppy! Do I see a bit of what you learned in your Japanese forays earlier this year? Hmmm, me thinks so...jujhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05297173587055224228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-30778714782242727112008-06-09T16:56:00.000+02:002008-06-09T16:56:00.000+02:00I haven't been around for a a week or so and am ca...I haven't been around for a a week or so and am catching up today. I can't wait to go visit the flying pictures. I think it's cool that I have already met 3 of the participants!!! You are all doing such beautiful work! I'm enjoying!mARTahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04385896087633426989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-72557353799743734172008-06-08T16:32:00.000+02:002008-06-08T16:32:00.000+02:00Hi RobynThanks for the comment. It has now relocated to Belfast city centre. I'm also enjoying the Flying sketchbooks project, looks like a lot of fun.Lor Lorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06078367260702484326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-41197585793109161142008-06-08T13:07:00.000+02:002008-06-08T13:07:00.000+02:00Lindsay - Thanks. I sketched the poppy's outline lightly with brown watercolour pencil and it's simply painted with watercolour.

Laura - I remember from last year that our daughters are both Gemini. Mine was born on June 1. This is the second year I have not been in Sydney for her birthday. I can't wait for her to arrive here in October.

Ronell - LOL. For those who are wondering, Ronell is just trying to make me feel better about a stupid comment.

Stacy - We are all scared of messing up! The beauty of this concept is that we can finish our pages before we attach them to the book. It still leaves half a page from the previous artist that could go wrong. I'm wondering how long it will be before I have to paste something over a 'mess'.

And thank you everyone. I'm glad you are enjoying FlyingPictures.Robyn Sinclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01663604160297996421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-13723426897874380742008-06-07T14:27:00.000+02:002008-06-07T14:27:00.000+02:00Aha, now I see...the half page is your work with L...Aha, now I see...the half page is your work with Lindsay's paper?Very creative of you and great teamwork!
RonellAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14082946.post-91594967707238927312008-06-06T18:49:00.000+02:002008-06-06T18:49:00.000+02:00Wonderful job on the poppy! You just reinforced that desire.

I wish I was part of your sketchbook exchange too just so I could have sketches from all of the wonderful artists participating.
